Memoriam

Murel L. Graham, 76, a native and lifelong resident of Georgetown, TN, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015 at the family residence. He was a longtime member of Candies Creek Baptist Church. He retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation after 30 plus years of service.

Mr. Graham was the son of the late Arnold Jerry Graham and Pauline Thompson Graham; he was also preceded in death by his son, Robert Franklin Graham and his brother, Harold Graham.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Louise Graham of Georgetown, TN; two children: Jayne Riand and husband, Jean- Francois of Nashville and David Graham and his wife, Crissy of Cleveland; five grandchildren: Mary Morrow, Sophie Riand, Ashlyn Graham, Ava Grace Graham, and Weston Graham; one brother, Jerry Graham and wife, Doris of Georgetown; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Dr. Jamie Work officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the funeral home.
