Memoriam

Patricia Jane Baumgarten, age 76, of Winfield, died April 23, 2015, in Northport. Services will be 7 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2015, at Winfield Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Williams and Rev. Kent Nelson officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North handling arrangements. Visitation will be held two hours prior to services at the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur J. Attenborough and Margaret Attenborough; brother, Arthur Attenborough; and son, Ronald J. Baumgarten.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth L. Baumgarten of Winfield, Ala.; son, Timothy E. Baumgarten (Rosey) of Northport, Ala.; brother, Thomas G. Attenborough of Luthersville, Ga.; grandchildren, Hope N. Eckel (Howard) of Senoia, Ga., Caleb W. Baumgarten of Northport, Ala., Jordan L. Baumgarten of Northport, Ala., and Brittany Byers of Athens, Ga.; and great-grandchildren, Kyndal Eckel and Noah Eckel.

Patricia was a warm and wonderful woman, who loved her Lord, her family, and her church. She enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, cooking for her family, gardening, and strolling on the beach. She was an active member of Winfield Free Will Baptist Church, and extremely committed to her Sunday School Class. She was employed in banking for most of her professional life. After retirement, she found a great joy in caring for and loving her family. She will be missed, but her graduation to Heaven brings great comfort to her family and friends.
