Memoriam

Roy Ralph Harris, 77, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a member of North Cleveland Baptist Church. Roy loved to read and study the Bible. He was an avid UT and Braves fan and enjoyed sports and loved gardening.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Harris; and parents Haskell and Maggie Dockery Harris.

Survivors include his son, Stephen Dwight Harris and wife, Linda Reneé Harris; 4 grandchildren: Christopher Harris, Cyle Harris, Courtney Harris and Casey Harris; 2 great grandchildren, Haylyn Harris and Bradley Danley all of Cleveland; 1 brother, Haskel Harris, Jr. and wife, Wanda of Tennga, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Jay McCluskey officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Sim Kibble, Harold Wiley, Christopher Harris, Kyle Harris, Jeff Danley and Elijah Danley serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00 Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the funeral home.
