EUTAW | Stella M. Allen, age 91, of Eutaw, died April 1, 2015, at Greene County Hospital. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Brother Carl Sudduth and Brother Ken Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be Saturday one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Allen, Sr.; son, Johnny Allen, Jr.; brothers, Jessie Hamilton, Herbert Hamilton, Wrennie Hamilton, Jimmy Hamilton and Lommie Hamilton; and sister, Addie Norris.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Lorene Allen; brother, Lewis Hamilton (Helen); grandchildren, Bobby (Dianne), Ray (Paula), and Ken (Stacy) Allen; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Allen, Blake Allen, Dakota Allen, Garrett Allen, Jessica McGuffey, Amber McGuffey, Chris Roach and Aron Young; and great-great-grandchild, Tyler Roach.
Pallbearers will be George Henderson, Jonathan Allen, Blake Allen, Melvin Herndon, James Wilson, Buddy Brownlee, Willis Reynolds and Raymond Lathum.
Honorary pallbearers are Greene County Nursing Home and Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
