Sherry McGuffin Butler, of Canton, MS, formerly of Columbus, MS, left this world to be with her Father in heaven on November 6, 2015. We cannot express the feelings of sadness and loss of such a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, but we are thankful to know that she is now perfectly healed and at peace in heaven. We are very thankful for the 41 years that we were blessed to share with her here on earth.
Among those that preceded Sherry in heaven were her parents, Doug and Joan McGuffin and her brother-in-law, Darrell Terrell.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Toby A. Butler; her son, Andrew Butler; her daughter, Laura Beth Butler; her sisters, Lisa McGuffin Thompson and Sandy McGuffin Terrell; along with numerous extended family and friends.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at Pinelake Church, Madison Campus, 223 Old Jackson Road, Madison, MS, with Brother Ken Murphy officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM.
A second memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 12, 2015, at Vibrant Church, 500 Hollyhills Road, Columbus, MS with Brother Ron Delgado officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM.
