Obituary Notice

Funeral services for Larry Howell, 63, of Grenada, are at 3 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the National Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery in the Rosebloom Community.

Visitation is Thursday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at National Funeral Home.

Larry died Sunday, August 30, 2015 at his home.

He was born on January 28, 1952 and was the son of the late Paul Jones Howell and Helen Christine Huddleston Howell of Charleston, MS.

Larry was retired from Louisiana Pacific in maintenance. He attended Grace Methodist Church and served in the National Guard for 6 years. Larry loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Amber Christine Howell of Grenada; 2 daughters, Regina Browning (Vince) of Clarksdale and Amada Smithers (Chas) of Brandon; 3 sons, Christopher Howell (Robin) of Clarksdale, Joshua Tippin (Rene) of Naples, FL and Ethan Howell (Samantha) of Jackson; 1 brother, Marty Howell (Diane) of Clarksdale; 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Paula Eakin.

Bro Rick Shepherd will be officiating the services.
