MOUNDVILLE | Russell King, age 77, of Moundville, died Jan. 28, 2015, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Bro. Irby Jackson and Bro. Ed King officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie M. King; daughter, Melissa Grice (Steve); sons, Stacey King (Teresa) and Jonathan King (Ann); and three grandchildren, Dustin Thompson, Tiffany King and Hannah King.
Honorary pallbearers are Caring Days staff, Hunter Creek staff, King's Community, his other children - all of his Ferguson Center Work Studies, members of Crestline Baptist Church and Taylorville Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in Russell's memory be made to Caring Days or Crestline Baptist Church Building Fund.
