Memoriam

Kathelene E. Milligan, age 75, of Northport, died June 15, 2015, at Northport Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North with Rev. Jerry Montgomery and Rev. Mike Grey officiating. Burial will follow in Sulpher Springs Freewill Baptist Church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 17, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Dicie Brown; and nine sisters and brothers.
Survivors include her spouse, Herbert Milligan; son, James R. Milligan (Robin); sister, Margaret Ann Henderson (Jimmy); brother, R.P. Brown; grandchildren, Miranda Hallman (Mason) and great-grandson, Grayson Hallman.
Kathelene was a loving mother who cared about her family and community. She was a member of Oregonia Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Hitt, Mason Hallman, Loy Lunceford, Lawrence Hartley, Doug Milligan, Clark Collins, Rayburn Brown, and Mike Ballard.
Honorary pallbearers are employees of Davita Dialysis of Northport, Heritage Health & Rehabilitation Center, members of Sulphur Springs Freewill Baptist Church and Oregonia Baptist Church, and friends of the Northside community, Dr. Craig Buettner, Dr. Dirk Berry, and Dr. Garfield Ramdeen.
