GORDO | Betty Jean (Pritchett) Wallace, age 73, of Gordo, Alabama, died September 22, 2015 at Heritage Nursing and Rehab Facility. Graveside service will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015, at Big Hill Baptist Church—10AM. Visitation will be held at Magnolia Chapel North (Northport, Al) Friday, September 25, 2015 from 6-8PM.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Hardy Pritchett, her father, Murry (Slim) Pritchett, and her husband, Tommy Ray Wallace. Survivors include son, Jerry Wallace (Shorty), Gordo; daughter, Sandi Wallace King, Gordo; Grandchildren, Brandi Wallace, Tiffni Cobb, Dusty Wallace, Brittni Cobb, Kenny Wayne Cobb, and Kasey Cobb; Great Grandchildren, Aalyiah Plott, Nicholas Wallace, Noah Wallace, Brayden Wilkins, and Fisher Cobb.
Ms. Wallace was born February 18, 1942 in Pickens County, Al. She was a strong spirited, loving homemaker, mother & Grandmother. She was sick for a long time, but has gone to a better place, Heaven. She will surely be missed by family and friends.
Pallbearers will be William Stephens, Scott Driver, James Marlowe, Corey Vaughn, Erik Locke, and Kyle Parham.
Honorary pallbearers are members and staff of Heritage Nursing and Rehab Facility.
