Memoriam

MOUNDVILLE | Virginia Richardson Bibby, age 88, of Moundville, died October 8, 2015, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2015, at Moundville Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Duckett and Rev. Ray Averette officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Alvin and Willie Dee Richardson; brothers, Alvin Richardson, J.T. Richardson and Ray Richardson; and sisters, Thelma Roland and Jane Averette.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Eunice Bibby; daughter, Judy B. Holland (Terry); two sisters, Peggy Dunkin (Willie) and Fay Colburn; two grandchildren, Haley H. Leow (Eric) and Caroline Marie Holland; two great-grandchildren, Caleb Owen Leow and Keeley Grace Leow; special pet, Sebastian; two sisters-in law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Virginia was a very humble person who loved her family and friends. She was also a very wonderful homemaker.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Richardson, Greg Richardson, Van Richardson, Bruce Dunkin, Marty Colburn, Jimmy Bibby, Macon Beckham and Jerry Tucker.
Honorary pallbearers are Thelma Elliott Sunday School Class and A.G. Marlar Sunday School Class and friends of the Moundville Community.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Moundville Baptist Church Building Fund and Hospice of West Alabama.
