Memoriam

Funeral services for James Allen Williamson, 72, of Grenada, are at 3 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at the National Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery in Grenada.

Visitation is Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at National Funeral Home.

Mr. Williamson died Monday, November 24, 2014 at Grace Health and Rehab in Grenada.

He was born on April 28, 1942 and was the son of the late John Silas Williamson and Lillie Bell Corley Williamson of Woodland, MS.

Mr. Williamson retired in June of 2002 after 35 years of employment with the Mississippi Dept of Human Services as a Quality Control Reviewer. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Grenada.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra West Williamson of Grenada; 1 daughter, Christie Lee Williamson of Memphis and 1 sister, Ellen Austin of Grenada .

Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son James Brian Williamson; 1 brother Silas Andrew Williamson and 1 stillborn baby sister.
