Memoriam

Funeral services for Margie D. Benning, 68, of Grenada, are at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the National Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Springhill Cemetery in Grenada.

Visitation is Friday, March 20, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at National Funeral Home.

Margie died Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at UMMC of Grenada.

She was born on November 11, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Curtis L. Carpenter and Mildred Moore Carpenter of Grenada.

Margie was a Registered Nurse who was employed by Grenada Lake Medical Center and Sta-Home until her retirement.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Cherre Ware and Tressy Breeland both of Gore Springs, MS; 1 sister, Geneva Harper of Coffeeville, MS; 5 grandchildren, Meah Fillyaw, Lexi Denley, Drake Fillyaw, Dakota Denley and Ciara Breeland; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Carmen Morgan and Kay Duvall of Grenada..
