Memoriam

Funeral services for William Harold McCormick, 86, of Grenada, are at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the Elliott Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Elliott Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Elliott Baptist Church.

Mr. McCormick died Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the Grenada Living Center.

He was born on April 27, 1928 and was the son of the late Andrew Boyd McCormick and Mattie Lois Harbour McCormick of Yalobusha County.

Mr. McCormick was retired from Pennaco as a knitter. He was also a farmer and raised cattle. He was a member of Elliott Baptist Church. He was also a veteran of the U S Army.

He is survived by his wife, Billie Havens McCormick of Grenada; 3 daughters, Lorie Blakely of Grenada, Lesa McCormick of Collierville, TN, and Carol Breland of Grenada; 2 sons, David McCormick of Bon Aqua, TN and Andrew McCormick of Duck Hill, MS; 1 sister, Sarah Alice Tyner of Canton, MS; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one on the way .
