Funeral services for Gloria Jean Collins Mitchell, 73, of Coffeeville, MS are at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the National Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Calvary Baptist Cemetery in Carroll County.
Visitation is Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at National Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mitchell died Monday, March 9, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN.
She was born on March 15, 1941 and was the daughter of the late James Edward Collins and Grace Heath Collins of Carroll County.
Mrs. Mitchell was employed by Heatcraft as a Drill Press Operator. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Carroll County.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by 1 daughter, Donna Anthony (Bill) of Grenada, MS; 1 son, Allen Mitchell (Angie) of Coffeeville, MS; 1 sister, Patti Hipp Triplett of Grenada, MS 5 grandchildren, Cody Mitchell, Jamie Mitchell, Mixie Hoop, Brandy Witt, and Megan Anthony and 7 great-grandchildren, Peyton Hoop, Harley Hoop, Hayden Hoop, Bryce Browning, Keeston Mitchell, Braylin Witt, and Chrisalyn Whitt.
