Memoriam

STEWART | Steven W. Harris, age 51, of Stewart, died September 16, 2015, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Pastor Kenneth D. Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow in Oakhill Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Lorinda “Rindy” Harris; father, Norvin W. Harris; and grandparents, Wallace and Charlie Mae Harris and Clyde and Lillie Mae Tidmore.

Survivors include his daughter, Stacy Nichole Taylor (Joshua Wayne) of Northport, Ala.; sisters, Diane H. Massey (Charles) of Moundville, Ala., and Noreen H. Forgrave (Kevin) of Kokomo, Ind.; mother, Alice H. Campbell; step-father, James “Butch” Campbell; and grandson, Harrison Cash Taylor.

Steven graduated from Hale County High School in 1981 and worked at Lawter Chemical. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, loved the Lord, his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center and Hospice of West Alabama.
