NORTHPORT | David G. Davis, age 75, of Northport, died February 23, 2015, at Northport Medical Center. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery in Millport, Ala., with Rev. Alton Bridges officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Jewel and Millard McGee, and brother, Richard McGee.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Sylvia Seay Davis; daughters, Cindy Davis Warren (Randall) and Gwen Davis McClain; son, Benjamen David Davis (Reba); sisters, Jackie Simmons (John), Teresa Hunter (Damon), and Pamela Payne; brothers, Jerry Garrison (Rachel) and Perry McGee (Rolinda); grandchildren, Bradley, Anthony, and Randy Warren (Meaghan), Michelle and Michael McClain, and Cody Davis; great-grandchildren, Sebastian and Piper McClain and Samuel Warren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers are employees of Barnes Excavating and Dr. Joe Wallace.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a
charity of one's choice.
