Memoriam

Wilma “Cricket” Grady Elrod, age 72, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015. She was born June 23, 1943, to Mitchell and Beatrice Grady. Cricket was a lifelong resident of Bradley County, TN.

She was preceded in death by her three sisters, Linda Morrison, Carolyn Higdon, and Judy Grady and her brother, Sammy Grady;

She is survived by her daughters, Regina Jay and husband, Rusty Jay of Ocoee, TN, and Tammy Neely and husband, Allen Neely of Soddy Daisy, TN; son, Terry Morgan of Texas. She leaves behind her sister, Jerry McCurry and brothers, Pete Grady, David Grady, Danny Grady, and Allen Grady all of Cleveland, TN, all of whom she sacrificed greatly for. She also leaves behind many grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Darrell Grady officiating. A graveside service will follow at Boanerges Baptist Church Cemetery in Old Fort, TN with Rusty Jay, Allen Neely, Danny Grady, and Michael Grady serving as pallbearers.
