EUTAW | Susan Carol Clark, age 65, of Eutaw, died October 21, 2015, at Greene County Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, October 25, 2015, in Mesopotamia Cemetery with Chip Beeker officiating and Magnolia South Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jane Anderson; father, R.E. Anderson; and brother, Mark Anderson.
Survivors include, her daughter, Cheryl Leigh Jones (PJ) of Walthall, Miss.; son, Gary Mitchell Hilyer Jr. (Wanda) of Akron, Ala.; sister, Meriyln J. Anderson, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; brother, Robert E. Anderson of Homewood, Ala. and grandchildren, Tripp Wade Jones, Luke Mitchell Jones, of Walthall, Miss, Ashley Nicole Kirkland, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Jonathan Elijah Brown of Duncanville, Ala., Tiffany Diane Menefield of Notasulga, Ala.; twelve great grands; and two great-great grands.
Susan was born in Woodbury, N.J. on May 22, 1950. Her family moved to Eutaw in 1952 where she graduated from Greene County High School in 1968. While in Eutaw she assisted Carl Beinert in his printing business and worked for First Presbyterian Church as a secretary. She also did some traveling and lived a short period of time in Montana, Idaho, Texas, and New Jersey. She was stricken with multiple sclerosis in the 80’s and went to reside in the Greene County Nursing Home in 1998.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, October 25, 2015, in Mesopotamia Cemetery.
