TUSCALOOSA | Ann Nevin Payne, age 74, of Tuscaloosa, died February 11, 2015, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015, at Five Mile Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Akron with Rev. Bryan Allen and Rev. Jimmy Burkhalter officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be Friday, February 13, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Evie Nevin and Annie B. Nevin; brother, Donald Nevin; and husband, Karl Edward Payne.
Survivors include her daughter, Karla P. Howard (Andy); sister, Lynda Coleman; brother, Billy Nevin (JoAnn); grandchildren, Karlene Howard and Nevin Howard; and great-grandchild, Blakeney Howard.
She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, Nana, sister, aunt and friend.
Pallbearers will be David Nevin, Charles Nevin, Scott Melton, Lee Melton, Donnie Nevin, and Nevin Howard.
Honorary pallbearers are William and Wesley Nevin.
