Kou Feng Su, 69, a resident of Cleveland for the past eight years passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a native of Taiwan and a former resident of Brazil. He was a former cook at Erlanger Hospital. He was employed with Lee University and an associate with Walmart.
He was preceded in death by his father, Su Hsi Keng and his mother, Chen Shen Hua and also by three brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mei Guey Su of Cleveland; two children: Kae Lih Su of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Joy Su Coley and husband, Chad Coley of Cleveland; two grandchildren: Katrin Su Bernhardt and Monika Su Bernhardt both of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; one sister, Su Pei Chen of Kaohsiung Taiwan and one brother, Wu Hsueh Wu of Taipei Taiwan.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2015 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Joiner officiating.
His family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
The family suggests that blood donations be made in memory of Kou Feng Su.
