Edgar Braxton Costilow 79, of Grenada, died Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Select Hospital in Jackson. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
He was born on November 12, 1935 and was the son of the late Cebron Leroy “Son” Costilow and Annie Lois Lacy Costilow of Calhoun County, MS.
Mr. Costilow was self-employed as a barber. He attended the Church of God.
He is survived by 1 son, Stanley Costilow of Jackson; 4 sisters, Ann Costilow Huggins of Clarksdale, Bonnie Costilow Ruth of Grenada, Donna Costilow Cook of South Carolina and Peggy Costilow Lucius of Grenada; 3 brothers, Jimmy Costilow, Jacky Costilow and Mike Costilow all of Grenada; 2 granddaughters, Ashleigh Costilow and Olivia Costilow; 1 grandson, Kyle Costilow and 2 great-grandchildren all of Jackson and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Costilow was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Carolyn Sue Davis Costilow.
