Johnny T. Goins, age 76, of Moundville, went to be with the Lord, July 10, 2015. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2015, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Rev. Jerry Koster officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Goins of Moundville; daughters, Angela Blackwell (Tim) of Montgomery, Gina Perry (Clint) of Moundville; step-daughter, Sonya Sanders of Moundville; sons, John Goins of Moundville, Jerry Goins (Sharice) of Brookwood; sister, Ruth Ellen Livingston (Bobby); brother, Elmer Goins Sr. (Donna); several nieces and nephews; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Johnny worked for ST Services for 34 years. He was a very loving husband, father, and friend and will be truly missed by his community.
Pallbearers will be Josh Blackwell, Jacob Blackwell, Michael Goins, Devin Goins, Reid Goins, and Elmer Goins, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be TJ Branham, Jonathan Gray, Geremy Goins, Dr. Larry Skelton, and Alacare Hospice.
The family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer's Foundation Caring Days.
