Jeff Deavours, age 59, of Fayette, died June 2, 2015, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2015, at Cleveland Church of Christ Cemetery with Ronnie Philpot officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Friday, June 5, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ted Deavours; and grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. C.S. Deavours and Mr. & Mrs. Major Francis.
Survivors include his better half, Teresa Ann Ball Mills; his daughter, Alexandria Deavours Hoffman (Nick); son, Brandon Deavours; sisters, Dianne Welch and Allison Sweigard; brother, Scott Deavours (Tonya); mother, Kay F. Deavours; precious granddaughter, Amelia Ryann "Charley" Hoffman; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins, and friends.
Jeff was an avid bird hunter and outdoorsman. Anyone who met him and knew him, as a friend, will remember his kind heart, generous soul and twinkling smile. Those who love him know of his special bond of being a Charlie to his Charley.
Jeff found great peace with Teresa and their Corgi team at their country home. His love for life will be felt forever.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Sudduth, Scott Turner, Scott Deavours, David McGiffert, Allen McGiffert and George Deavours.
Honorary pallbearers are the employees of McGiffert & Associates, Carroll's Creek Water, Amedisys Home Health, Summit Pipe, Bill Francis, Johnny Free, Eric Barnes, DCH Oncology Unit, Price Construction, and Jamie and Lauren Oswalt.
