Memoriam

Kim Dodd Marshall, 61, of Gadsden, AL, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, January 9, 2016. She was born in Lake Wales, FL, and raised in Tampa, FL. She also lived several years in Reno, NV, and Chattanooga, TN. She was a member of Bethel Temple Assembly of God, Hixson, TN. She was the one and only love of her husband, Tom. When he saw her, he knew she was the one. Through good times and bad, she always trusted the Lord. She loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephew and her grand nieces and nephews. She cared deeply for all animals but had a special place in her heart for her “kids”, Lexi, Chanel & Ebony. She was an avid cook. She always brought the best dishes to gatherings. She enjoyed reading, camping, and the cooking channel. She spent her career in customer service and was part of the ground floor of the “Home Shopping Network.” Her family will miss her greatly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B.J. Dodd; in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Marshall; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Walburn and Mrs. Eva Dodd.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Thomas Marshall; sister, Beth Bellamy (J.L.); nieces, Shannon Burger (Bryan) and Jennifer Edge (Greg); nephew, Jeffrey Bellamy (fiancé, Dana Carter); grand nephews, A.J., Eric and Eli Edge, Sam and Luke Burger; and grand nieces, Riley and Charlee Bellamy.
