Mary Evelyn Hocutt age 78 of Northport died Monday September 14, 2015 at home. Services will be held on Wednesday September 16, 2015 at Magnolia Chapel North at 11:00am with Bro. Don Harding officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing. Burial will follow at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Magnolia Chapel North on Wednesday from 10:00am until 11:00am.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Pickett and Birdie Mae Grant, her husband James Edward Hocutt and son John Edward "Eddie" Hocutt.
Survivors include her daughters Mary E. "Libby" Greene and Susan Holocher (Danny) ; sisters Flora Seagraves, Ruby Green (Billy Jack), Elizabeth Godfrey (Joe), and Diane Seagraves (Dennis) ; grandchildren John Jones (Ronni), Jimmy Greene, Amber Greene, Megan Kelly (Nate), Daniel Holocher (Shelby) and 10 great grandchildren.
She was a very loved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all. She was a nurse for 45 years and went to DCH School of Nursing and worked for DCH and West Alabama General Hospital.
Pallbearers will be John Jones, Jimmy Greene, Daniel Holocher, Nate Kelly, Brad Seagraves and Dennis Seagraves.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Eugene Alldrege, Southern Care Hospice and employees of Fauercia.
Visitation At:
Visitation will be held at Magnolia Chapel North on Wednesday from 10:00am until 11:00am.
Funeral At:
Wednesday September 16, 2015 at Magnolia Chapel North at 11:00am.
