Graveside services for Logan Eugene McMurtry, 80, of Grenada, are at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Faith Fellowship Cemetery.

Mr. McMurtry died Sunday, May 10, 2015 at his home.

He was born on January 30, 1935 and was the son of the late Billy Ishmael McMurtry and Eafie Bernice Shockey McMurtry of Jefferson County Arkansas.

Mr. McMurtry was employed by Overhead Door Company as a Manager . He was an Ordained Minister through the Assembly of God. Mr. McMurtry was a member of Faith Fellowship Church. He was also a veteran of U. S. Army where he served as a Pilot Instructor.

Mr. McMurtry is survived by his adopted daughter, Edwardanne McCammon (William) of Scobey; 1 sister, Patricia McMurtry of Bells, TN; his best friend, James Carroll; his sitter and family friend, Sherri Andrews; 2 grandchildren William McCammon and Tricia Dorris and 5 great-grandchildren, T. K. McCammon, Neil McCammon, Hannah Faith McCammon, Kailey Dorris, and Anna Dorris

He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, Bill McMurtry and 1 great-grandson, Andrew “Tiny” McCammon.
