Memoriam

Funeral services for Barbara Wilson Organ, 79, of Grenada, are at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the National Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Grenada.

Visitation is Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at National Funeral Home.

Mrs. Organ died Tuesday, January 6, 2014 at her son’s home.

She was born on March 16, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Ernest Durrell Wilson and Eura Hardy Wilson of Yalobusha County.

Mrs. Organ was employed by Dollar General as a Manager. She was a member of Celebration Baptist Church at Tie Plant.

Barbara is survived by two daughters, Jane Harding (Danny) of Meridian and Tonya Jackson of Grenada; two sons, Wayne White (Dianna) and Shane Organ both of Grenada; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Buddy Wilson of Water Valley and Johnny Wilson of Scobey; 3 sisters, Jimmie Mae Sholley of Memphis, Dorothy Emrick and Sue Hill both of Water Valley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Granville Organ and 2 sisters, Joan Downs and Brenda Henderson.

Bro Wayne Cupid will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.

National Funeral Home is in charge.
