Funeral services for Roger Earl Winters, 55, of Grenada, are at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the Grenada Church of God. Burial will follow in Magnolia Gardens at Paynes, Mississippi.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at National Funeral Home.

Roger died Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the Tallahatchie Nursing Home in Charleston, Mississippi.

He was born in Tallahatchie County on September 27, 1959 and was the son of the late James Earl Winters and Margaret Goodwin Winters.

Roger was employed as a construction project manager. He was a member of the Grenada Church of God and was retired from the Mississippi National Guard.

Roger is survived by one son, Ryan Winters (Suzanne) of Oxford; one brother, Ray Winters (Gail) of Grenada; one grandson, Ryan Tyler Winters; and aunt and uncle, Jane and Jack Carpenter of Charleston and aunt and uncle Gloria and Roy Goodwin of Charleston.

Bro. James McElroy and Bro. Raymond Aven will be officiating the services.

National Funeral Home is in charge of professional services.
