Memoriam

Henry Price, 63, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 in a local hospital. He loved to fish especially with his wife, Janice. He also loved to be outdoors. He was a member of the National Guard from 1969-1975.

Mr. Price was the son of the late George W. Price and Maggie Nease Price and was also preceded in death by his brother, Carl Price; sister-in-law, Barbara Williams

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Janice Price of Cleveland; daughter, Tonya Ballard of Cleveland; one granddaughter, Rene Ballard of Cleveland; one sister, Lucille LeQuire and husband, James; five brothers, George Price, Jr. and wife, Evelyn, Kenneth Price and wife, Glenda, Grover Price, John R. Price and wife, Phyllis, and Randall Price and wife, Lorie all of Cleveland; two very special nieces, Amber Looper and Briana Looper; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David Williams of Simpsonville, SC, Paul and Betty Howard of Decatur, Cena Haney of Cleveland, James and Janice Dispaine of Cleveland, Thomas Dispaine of Cleveland, Morgan Dispaine of Decatur.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 23, 2015 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Kenneth Bowers officiating. Interment will follow in Price Chapel Cemetery. Johnny Price, Jeff Price, C.C. Haney, James Dispaine, Dwight Dye, and Steven Howard will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Price, Billy Price, Joshua Price, Robert Price and Ray Looper. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
