Memoriam

Funeral services for Dody Jean Hendricks, 76, of Grenada, are at 2 p.m., Monday, January 26, 2015 at the National Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Grenada Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at National Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hendricks died Friday, January 23. 2015 at the Grenada Living Center.

She was born on November 11, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Loress Eugene Martin and Robbie Thigpen Martin of Grenada County.

Mrs. Hendricks was employed by Pennaco Hosiery Mill in the Folding Department. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Grenada.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Loraine Cynthia Free; sister, Lois Marie Heath; and grandson, Scott Hendricks.

Mrs. Hendricks is survived by her husband, L.C. Hendricks of Grenada; one son Charles Wayne Hendricks and his wife, Salena, of Grenada; two brothers, Edward Martin and Eugene Martin, both of Macon, Georgia; two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
