Funeral services for Frank Ray Lane, 84, of Grenada, are at 11 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 at the National Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Grenada.
Visitation is Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at National Funeral Home.
Mr. Lane died Monday, March 2, 2015 at Grace Health and Rehab.
He was born on March 12, 1930 and was the son of the late Roman Knot Lane and Latra Howell Lane of Scobey, MS. He was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, R. K. Lane, Shelley Lane, and Talmadge Lane.
Mr. Lane was retired from Heatcraft as a Fin Press Operator. He was a member of Grenada Church of The Nazarene. He was also a veteran of the Army, serving in WWII.
Mr. Lane is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patsy Humphreys Lane of Grenada; 2 daughters, Janet Engelke of Southaven, MS and Lisa Roberson of Holcomb, MS; 3 sons, Andy Lane of Duck Hill, MS, Franky Lane of Grenada, MS, and Gary Lane of Oxford, MS; 2 sisters, Francis Edwards of Jackson, MS and Agnes Prolifico of Jacksonville, FL; 1 brother, Thomas Lane of Jackson, MS; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Bro. Howard Green and Bro. Tim Lane will be officiating the services with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
