Memoriam

Funeral services for Patricia Abel Sultan, 83, of Gore Springs, MS, are at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the Providence Baptist Church in Gore Springs. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church.

Mrs. Sultan died Monday, March 9, 2015 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

She was born on July 17, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Elijah Green Abel and Nona Marie Clark Abel of Montgomery County.

Mrs. Sultan was employed by Pennaco as a Inspector. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Clifford Sultan of Gore Springs, MS; 1 daughter, Sandra Austin of Gore Springs, MS; 1 son, Cliff “Beater” Sultan of Gore Springs, MS 1 sister, Virginia Schiele of Lambert, MS; 1 brother, Harvey Brian Abel of Yazoo City, MS; 3 grandchildren, Hunter Austin, Reed Austin, and Cameron Sultan .
