Obituary Notice

Funeral services for George Grant Hall, 84, of Duck Hill, MS are at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Duck Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Duck Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Duck Hill Baptist Church.

Mr. Hall died Monday, October 19, 2015 at UMMC- Grenada.

He was born on January 4, 1931 and was the son of the late Melvin Grant Hall and Allie Snow Hall of Globe, AZ.

Mr. Hall was retired from the U. S. Air Force after 23 years and then started his own carpet business. He was a member of the Duck Hill Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge, for 50 plus years and the American Legion Post 52.

Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy Collett Hall of Duck Hill. 1 granddaughter, Lacey Moorman and 1 great-grandson, Ari Deady Moorman; 6 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his children, Pam H. Roberts, Grant Hall and Jon Hall; 1 granddaughter, Lizzie Roberts; 3 sisters, Dorothy Gordom, Johnnie Shaw and Bertha Coombs; 2 brothers, Melvin and Eugene Hall.
