Graveside services for Resica Ann Carpenter Stroup, 59, of Grenada, are at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Elliott Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 1 p.m. until service time at the National Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Stroup died Monday, December 8, 2014 at UMMC in Jackson, MS.

She was born on December 20, 1954 and was the daughter of the late J. W. Carpenter and Jane Wilson Carpenter of Grenada.

Mrs. Stroup was a housewife. She was member of Providence Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Herman George “Tom“ Stroup, Sr. of Grenada; 1 son Herman George Stroup, Jr. of Grenada; 1 daughter, Janie Lee Parker of Gulfport, MS; 1 sister Lisa Chambers of Georgetown, SC; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
