Graveside services for Bluford Lee Norwood, 80, of Vardaman, MS, are at 2 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2015 at the Jumpers Chapel Cemetery in Water Valley, MS.
Visitation is Monday just prior to service at the cemetery.
Mr. Norwood died Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.
He was born on December 13, 1934 and was the son of the late Willie Foster Norwood and Ema Mae White Norwood of Coffeeville, MS.
Mr. Norwood was a retired truck driver, he worked for Chris Tedders Farms, Binswanger and MS Carriers. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church. He was also a veteran of Army-National Guard .
He is survived by 1 daughter, Brenda Norwood Emrick of Grenada, MS; 3 sons, Terry Tillman of Middleburg, FL, Robert Norwood of Columbia, MS and James Thomas Norwood of Charleston, MS; 2 brothers, Lester S Norwood of Grenada, MS and Ralph Norwood of Water Valley, MS; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
National Funeral Home is in charge.
