Donna West, 61, a resident of Athens, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the family residence. She was a native of Missouri and had lived the past fifteen years in McMinn County. She was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Anthony G. Broyles and Ima June Clemens Broyles.
She is survived by her husband of fourteen years, Patrick West of Athens; two sisters: Elaine Price and husband, Jesse of Phillipsburg, MO, and Carmen Melton and husband, Ricky of Gravitt, Arkansas; a niece she raised as a daughter, Krista Jenkins of Norman, OK; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive; her fur kids: Barkley, Sunny, Dottie, Gracie, Bethovan and Callie.
There will be a private family service held at a later date.
The family suggests that flowers be omitted and that donations be made to the charity of your choice in Donna’s name.
Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
