Johnnie Wolford, 84, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Chattanooga and spent the last 25 years in Bradley County. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Mrs. Wolford was preceded in death by her husband, Gene V. Wolford; her parents, Roby Lee Brackett and Edna Allen DeLashmitt Brackett; two sisters: Helen Coots and Betty Brackett; two brothers: Charles Brackett and Victor Brackett.
Survivors include her three children: Sharon Toll, Howard Smalley and David A. Wolford all of Cleveland; three grandchildren: Michelle Toll, Shawn Toll and Richard Wolford; three great-grandchildren: Joshua Anderson, Shalynn Toll and Cameron Toll; one great-great-grandchild, Judah Climer; two sisters: Patricia Fox and husband, Kenneth of Chattanooga and Ellen Baker of Ringgold; two brothers: Roby Brackett, Jr. and Bobby Brackett both of Ringgold; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor James Kent officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service
