Memoriam

Graveside services for Mary Elizabeth Hendricks, 97, of Grenada, are at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Soule Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery near Moselle, Mississippi.

Visitation is Friday, December 26th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at National Funeral Home in Grenada.

Mrs. Hendricks died December 23, 2014 at her home.

She was born on January 22, 1917 and was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Carter and Margaret Rainey Carter of Moselle.

Mrs. Hendricks was employed by TWL in Grenada. She later was hired as the first manager of the TWL in Macon, Mississippi. Mrs. Hendricks enjoyed sewing, embroidery, and gardening. She loved her family and she especially loved to go fishing and to go to the car races with her son.

Mrs. Hendricks is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Outz of Hackleburg, Alabama; three grandsons, Kelly Hendricks of Grenada, Jonathan K. Outz of Hackleburg, and Daniel B. Outz of Diamondhead, Mississippi; two granddaughters, Paula Green and Elizabeth Marie Fryar, both of Milton, Florida; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cecil B. Hendricks; three sisters; four brothers; and one great-grandson.

National Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
