Obituary Notice

Funeral services for Beverly Annette Mitchell McDaniel, 73, of Carrollton, MS are at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the National Funeral Home Chapel . Burial will follow in Wayside Cemetery in Scobey, MS..

Visitation is Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at National Funeral Home.

Mrs. McDaniel died Thursday, August 6, 2015 at AMG Specialty Hospital in Greenwood, MS.

She was born on December 3, 1941 and was the daughter of the late James Demar Mitchell and Sallie Vera Tribble Mitchell of Grenada, MS.

Mrs. McDaniel was employed by Dr. Lamb and Dr. Whitaker as a LPN. She was a member of North Carrollton Baptist Church . Mrs. McDaniel also served as a cook on a river boat, secretary for the Wahabi Shriners, a member of the Eastern Star and a member of the Red Hat Club at North Carrollton Baptist Church.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Janet Flanagan of Coila, MS; 2 sons, James McDaniel and Jason McDaniel both of Greenwood; 2 sisters, Cindy Mitchell of Carrollton, MS and Marquita Goss of Florence, MS; also 5 grandchildren.

Bro Dwayne Jensen will officiate the services with Mitchell Gordon, Lance McDaniel, Tanner McDaniel, Hunter Flanagan, Byron Pemberton and David DuVall serving as pallbearers.
