Willie Ruth Lee, 95, of Cleveland Tennessee passed away on December 12, 2015. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was born in Brighton, Alabama and is the daughter of Allie and H.D. Simpson. She married William P. Lee in May of 1938.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents H.D. and Allie Simpson; husband, William Lee, Sr.; son, William Lee, Jr. and grandson, William K. Sturm.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Purper; sister, Allene Murphree; grandchildren, Robert (Susan) Sturm; Diane, widow of William K. Sturm; John (Karen) Sturm; Elizabeth (Logan) Hurst; great grandchildren, John (Vanessa), Michael, Evan, Kaleigh, and Matthew Sturm and Michael Hurst.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Pleasant Forrest Cemetery in Farragut, Tennessee with the Reverend Josh Hill officiating.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the charity of your choice.
