Memoriam

Leona Pearl Miller Dotson, 80, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the family residence. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She loved ice skating, swimming, gardening and was an avid reader of Max Lucado.

Mrs. Dotson was the daughter of the late Ralph P. Miller and Pearl Vivian Morris Miller and was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas Lee Dotson, and her sister, Joyce Elaine Raby.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Floyd Russel Dotson of Cleveland; she is survived by her three children: Paul Russel and wife, Carol of Conway, SC, Linda G. Pontin and husband, Gary of Linden, Michigan, and Tina Marie Arnold and husband, Jerry of McDonald, TN; one grandson, Christopher Pontin of Fenton, Michigan; brother, Eugene Otto Raby of Inverness, Florida; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2015 at the funeral home.
