Obituary Notice

Funeral services for David Roy Dixon, 56, of Duck Hill, MS are at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Friendship Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at National Funeral Home.

David died Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

He was born on September 10, 1958 and was the son of the late Carl James Dixon and Zetra Maxine Collins Dixon of Grenada.

David was employed by Luvata as a brazer . He was a Baptist..

He is survived by his wife, Debra Burt Dixon of Duck Hill; 1 daughter, Robin Howell of Clarksdale; 1 step-daughter, Lisa Holland of Grenada; 1 son, David Dixon II of Grenada; 1 step-son, Jason Logan of Grenada; 2 sisters, Vicky Wortham and Renee Burt both of Grenada; 7 grandchildren.

Bro Brian Robertson will officiate the services with Will Perry, Chris Howell, Chuckie Loftus, Buster Peters, Richard Earl Smith, Brent Brown, Jonathan Haddon and Anthony Kerr serving as pallbearers.
