William Clyde Robey, 67, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. He was a former resident of Birmingham, Alabama. He was a retired engineer with the Norfolk Southern Railroad after 28 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed working on computers and spending time with his family.
Mr. Robey was the son of the late Charles Clayton Robey, Sr. and Florence Blosser Robey.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Robey of Cleveland; six children: William K. Robey, Kimberly Paige Blankenship, Kristopher C. Robey all of Birmingham, Alabama, Erika N. Robey, Nathanial V. Robey, and Jonathan C. Robey all of Cleveland, TN; six grandchildren: Hailey Blankenship, Hunter Blankenship, Harrison Haynes, Mallorie Robey, Tucker Herron, and Sawyer Robey; one brother, Charles C. Robey, Jr.
A graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 am Wednesday prior to the graveside service.
