Memoriam

Robert E. Spray, age 86, of Greensboro, died July 29, 2015, at Hale County Hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Bro. Kenneth Wyatt officiating. A private graveside service will be held in Memory Hill Gardens with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Althine Spray; and infant son.
Survivors include his daughters, Arlene Spell (David) and Darlene McDaniel (Mark); son, Gary Spray; sisters, Betty Marshall (Cliff), Mary Holland McBay and Laura Ellen Parker; grandchildren, Bric McDaniel, Georgie McDaniel and Chalis Huffman; and a host of very special nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be the sons in law and grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers are employees of Hale County Hospital, Hale County Hospital Home Health, Comfort Care Hospice, friends and employees of DCH Manderson Cancer Center, friends, sitters, neighbors of Mt. Herman and Pleasant Valley communities, and sitters' Pam Watkins and Joseph Thomas for their loving care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to one's favorite charity.
